This study present results from behavior coding of about 200 tape recordings of the 1995 Test Census Integrated Coverage Measurement (ICM) interview. The ICM was a post-Census test interview designed to gather a roster, conduct a coverage interview, perform person matches from the Census interview, resolve roster discrepancies, and determine residency status. The coding focuses on both question-asking and response behavior. The paper documents the frequency of interviewer behaviors such as major wording changes and omissions and respondent behaviors such as break-ins, requests for clarifications, and inadequate answers. Detailed tables illustrate interviewer reading behavior and respondent behavior to a variety of questions including: roster questions, coverage probes, roster match reconciliation probes, and residency questions.
