  • NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING(NPRM): FOREIGN TRADE REGULATIONS (FTR)

    Date: March 15, 2016

    This webinar will discuss the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking revising the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Title 15, Part 30. This rule amends several sections of the FTR to reflect new export reporting requirements related to the implementation of the International Trade Data System (ITDS), in accordance with the Executive Order 13659, Streamlining the Export/Import Process for American Businesses. The ITDS was established by section 405 of the Security and Accountability for Every (SAFE) Port Act of 2006 (Pub. L. 109-347, 120 Stat. 1884).
