OCT. 18, 2023 — The U.S. Census Bureau will offer a two-day embargo period to allow media members access to the 2023 National Population Projections. These projections provide a comprehensive analysis of the nation’s projected population through 2100. The analysis covers projected births, deaths and net international migration in addition to population size and composition by age, sex, race, Hispanic origin and nativity. The 2023 projections include a main series as well as three alternative scenarios based on distinct assumptions about international migration.

Note: This release was previously scheduled for embargo Tuesday, October 3, and public release Thursday, October 5. It was moved due to a delay in finalizing the table package. 

Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 10 a.m. EST, to Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. EST.
