The 2020 Census Supplemental Demographic and Housing Characteristics File (S-DHC) tables reflect especially complex relationships between the characteristics about households and the people living in them. The S-DHC provides average household size and counts of people living in certain types of households. Most of the tables are also available by race and Hispanic origin. The product supplements data about households and people published in the DHC.
Subjects: Data that combine characteristics about households and the people living in them, including the total population in households, average household size by age and tenure, average family size, household and family type for people under 18 years old, and total population in households by tenure.
2020 geographies: Nation, state.
Planned release date: Embargo subscribers can access these statistics beginning 10 a.m. EDT, Tuesday, Sept. 17, for release at 12:01 a.m. EDT, Thursday, Sept. 19.
