The American Economic Association (AEA), in conjunction with approximately 50 associations in related disciplines, holds a three–day meeting each January to present papers on general economic subjects. Our presence at the Allied Social Science Associations (ASSA) Meetings provided Census Bureau staff the opportunity to present their latest research findings and exchange ideas with colleagues in their field with the goal of improving Census Bureau programs.
