Where can I find disability data?
National Estimates
For national estimates, disability data is collected primarily in the American Community Survey and the Survey of Income and Program Participation.
Disability data from the Survey of Income and Program Participation is contained in the public use microdata which can be downloaded from the FTP download site, or explored using DataFerrett. Disability data is also available in the Americans with Disabilities report series. The report using 2010 data can be found here in Americans With Disabilities.
Tables from the American Community Survey can be accessed using American Fact Finder. Microdata for the American Community Survey can also be downloaded from the ACS FTP site, or explored using DataFerrett.
State, County, City, and other geographies
The American Community Survey is the best source for disability data below the national level.
