Counting everyone living in the U.S. Island Areas is critical for the 2020 Census and your community. That's why Statistics in Schools (SIS) provides classroom activities and other resources specifically for American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Use SIS activities, maps, and other materials with your students to boost their statistical literacy and underscore the importance of ensuring that everyone living in the Island Areas is counted in the 2020 Census.

SIS also provides materials that schools can send to the adults in students' homes to explain how and why they should complete the 2020 Census.
