2019 SIPP: Inconsistent SSI Receipt for Partial Year Respondents

There are a small number of person-level records where a respondent has a value of “9” (“Cannot be determined”) for RSSI_YRYN even though they have a value of “1” (“Yes”) for RSSI_MNYN in at least one month of data. Data users should assign a value of “1” to RSSI_YRYN if a person has at least one month where RSSI_MNYN = 1 (“Yes”).
