2014 Panel Wave 3: Problems with Cohabiting Couples Data
There are a very small number of cases in which there is inconsistent information for cohabiting couples affecting any of the following variables: monthly relationships (RRELs), cohabiting partner identifier at interview month (EPNCOHAB), or cohabiting partner identifier at the monthly level (EPNCOHAB_EHC). By inconsistencies, we mean that one respondent will identify a second as a cohabiting partner in one of these variables, but the second person does not also identify the respondent as their partner in the parallel variable on the second person's record.
