Survey participant materials are mailed directly to the household or provided by field representatives during a visit to the household. Introduction Letters (also known as an Advance Letters) provide a brief overview of the survey, and explain why a household was selected and what to expect as a survey participant. Postcards and Factsheets are provided by field representatives during data collection and include interesting facts and additional related content for survey participants.
The below brochures show some of the ways responses to the Survey of Income and Program and Participation are used to measure America and inform important policy decisions. Brochures are available in both English and Spanish.
