2024 SIPP Conference

2024 Virtual SIPP Conference

On March 21, 2024, the U.S. Census Bureau held a free, virtual conference, which showcased how government agencies and other organizations use data from the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP). The conference –

  • Highlight policy and programmatic uses of SIPP data, including presentations from:
    • United States Department of Agriculture
    • Congressional Budget Office
    • Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
    • Pew Research Center
    • Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City
  • Facilitated collaboration with peers and subject matter experts
  • Described the plans and goals for the upcoming SIPP redesign
  • Included a speaker session on the recent CNSTAT findings covering disclosure avoidance in SIPP
