The U.S. Census Bureau, the PAA's Committee on Population Statistics, and the Triangle Census Research Network are sponsoring a workshop on the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP). The workshop will be held the day before the annual PAA meeting in San Diego. It aims to provide an introduction to the SIPP and its 2014 redesign and includes demonstrations on ways to access and use SIPP data.
The workshop is from 1:00-4:30 on Wednesday, April 29. You may register for the workshop at the same time as you register for the main PAA conference. Select the "Workshop on the Redesign of the SIPP" under the "Events" section of the online registration form. For additional information on the workshop, please see //www.populationassociation.org/workshop-on-the-redesign-of-the-sipp/. For any questions, please contact census.sipp@census.gov.
