This release of the Table Creator reflects the 2021 tables that have been updated with the following change:
The non-response weighting adjustment was adjusted to account for both the addition of eligible respondents and removal of ineligible nonrespondents. Initially there were 5,103 eligible out of a total of 10,616 eligible cases. The total number of eligible cases was updated to be 5,210 out of 10,596, raising the survey response rate slightly from 48% to 49%. The new eligible response cases were found during internal research regarding the reporting of units by bedroom type and occupancy status. These cases had incorrectly assigned outcome codes. The cases removed from the eligible nonrespondents were either owner-occupied or classified as non-rentals.

This release of the Table Creator reflects the 2018 tables that have been updated with the following changes:
Year Debt Originated, in the Finance and Mortgage Table and its related sub-tables, showed an incorrect value for properties and units for the 2016-2018 and Not Applicable bins. The totals had previously shown the weighted sum of properties (or units) in both categories, instead of the totals for the individual categories. This release corrects this error. Mean and median values for Year Debt Originated were correct and have not been updated.
For properties with a debt, a new item imputation was implemented to set reported values of zero or one to missing for the following two items: outstanding balance and monthly payment amount. These properties will now be included in total for “Not Reported” for these items.

Year Debt Originated, in the Finances and Mortgage Table and its related sub-tables, shows an incorrect value for properties and units for the 2016-2018 and Not Applicable bins. The totals currently shown are the weighted sum of properties (or units) in both categories, instead of the totals for the individual categories. However, the mean and median values for Year Debt Originated are correct. The error in the totals will be updated in a new release soon.

This release of the Table Creator reflects the 2015 tables that have been updated with the following changes:
Added variance estimation of mean and medians for selected variables.
Corrected imputation for Newest Building Constructed, Year Oldest Building Constructed, and Year Property Acquired. As a result, the Year Newest Building Constructed column variable is now fully populated and will no longer be categorized as “Not reported” for the majority of cases.
Corrected tabulation of No capital improvements/Not reported for Total Value of Capital Improvement to Property.
Completed data cleanup on a small number of cases, which included revising the Debt to Equity Ratio value for one case that was skewing the mean value for 50+ property size units.
Revised and added additional footnotes for clarification.
Removed commas from mean and median year fields for downloaded Excel spreadsheets.
