The 2022 National Training, Education, and Workforce Survey (NTEWS) is the first collection that is expected to be collected every two years. The 2022 NTEWS cycle takes place in April 2022 to October 2022. The 2022 NTEWS target population consists of all U.S. residents, who are eligible to work (i.e., 16-75 years old). To release national estimates, about 43,200 individuals will be contacted to participate in the 2022 NTEWS.
For future NTEWS collection cycles, NTEWS will include a returning sample from the previous cycle as well as draw a new sample. For example, the 2024 NTEWS will re-contact an estimated 25,000 individuals from the 2022 NTEWS and invite a new group of approximately 95,000 individuals. A returning sample will stop after four collection cycles.
For the 2022 NTEWS, there is currently only one version of the survey instrument.
