If you have provided an email address and/or cell phone number to participate in the National Household Food Study, you will receive an email from census.foodstudy@census.gov and/or an SMS message from (833) 972-2579 with an invitation to complete the study, followed by reminder messages.

You can stop the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to (833) 972-2579. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with “HELP" for assistance or contact the U.S. Census Bureau at 1-844-421-2603 or census.foodstudy@census.gov.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
