Periodically, the Census Bureau publishes documents, including all public notices, in the Federal Register, “The Daily Journal of the United States Government.”
The National Archives defines a Federal Register Notice (FRN) as an official publication that provides legal notice of administrative rules, proposed rules, and notices of federal agencies and organizations in the United States Government. It is published every federal working day and serves as a way to notify the public of pending regulations and allow citizens to participate in the decision-making process.
To learn more about the Federal Register and how federal agencies use it to share information, visit the User Information section at federalregister.gov. Documents are displayed in a web journal format using HTML, numerous hypertext links, and suggested searches. Each major agency, including the Census Bureau, has its own home page and postings.
Below are the current FRNs for the 2030 Census. As future notices are published, we will provide updated categories and additional information to make the information easier to find and recognize. For notices specific to the Geography Program, visit the Geography program's FRN page.
