Decennial Census Data Products
2030
Overview
We are beginning to plan for the data products we will release for the 2030 Census. These data products will be in the form of counts, enumerations, and statistical estimates and will cover the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. They will include:
- Apportionment products for the President to provide to Congress.
- Enumerations for states to use in redistricting.
- Other data products for public use.
In developing the data products, we will balance:
- Data confidentiality.
- Data accuracy.
- Data availability.
We will determine the final products and content based on data user feedback and finalizing a disclosure avoidance system that addresses a set of universal principles that focus on system efficiency, effectiveness, and flexibility. Learn more about 2030 Census Disclosure Avoidance.
