Citizen Voting Age Population (CVAP) Special Tabulation from the 2017-2021 5-Year American Community Survey
The data files, in both CSV and SAS formats, are posted below. The zip files contain the CVAP documentation along with nationwide files for the following geographies:
- Nation
- State
- Congressional District
- State Legislative District (Upper House & Lower House)
- County
- Place
- MCD (Minor Civil Division - only for CT, MA, ME, MI, MN, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, and WI)
- Tract
- Block Groups
The 2017-2021 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates and this CVAP special tabulation created from those estimates use the same geography source, therefore, this CVAP product contains the 116th Congressional Districts and the 2018 State Legislative Districts. The 2018-2022 ACS 5-year estimates that will be released in late 2023 and the CVAP Special Tabulation that will be released in early 2024 will reflect the 118th Congressional Districts and the 2022 State Legislative Districts.
