Summary of Changes
• ARTS estimates were revised to reflect historical corrections to current sample data. Corrections are made to replace previously reported data with more accurate data received at a later date or to replace imputed data with reported data obtained from the company. For more information, refer to the Benchmarking section of the Annual Retail Trade Survey methodology page located below:

• Due to a delay in the availability of nonemployer data from the Nonemployer Statistics program for 2019, the nonemployer data for both 2019 and 2020 were imputed for ARTS in survey year 2020. The 2021 ARTS survey year estimates contain updated nonemployer data for both 2019 and 2020. 2020 nonemployer estimates were also re-imputed based on the updated 2019 estimates and applied to the survey.
