The Census Bureau identified a tabulation processing error for "Other Hispanic or Latino" and "All other Hispanic or Latino" iterations of tables S0201 and S0201PR for 2021 and 2022. Two large Hispanic origin detailed groups, Puerto Rican and Cuban, were mistakenly included when tabulating "Other Hispanic or Latino" and "All other Hispanic or Latino." This resulted in an overestimate of the population tabulated as "Other Hispanic or Latino" and "All other Hispanic or Latino."
The impact is limited to tables S0201 and S0201PR for the "Other Hispanic or Latino" and "All other Hispanic or Latino" iterations.
The S0201 and S0201PR tables for 2021 and 2022 ACS 1-year estimates for these groups should not be compared with other ACS estimates given this error. Iterations of S0201 and S0201PR for "Other Hispanic or Latino" and "All other Hispanic or Latino" will be removed from future releases consistent with excluding residual "Other [group]" iterations for race, ancestry, and the foreign-born population.
