Rounding Issues Discovered for EEO Tables 1RC and 1WC in data.census.gov/API
The Census Bureau identified a rounding issue for EEO Tables 1RC and 1WC on Census API and data.census.gov that were released on 1/27/2022. A subset of percentages in tables 1RC and 1WC were rounded down by .5% or less. For example the Total All Groups Percent Male Financial managers for the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metro Area is reported in data.census.gov as 49.3 but should be reported as 49.4.
Data users can access data for these tables from the Census FTP site or the EEO Table Tool, which were not impacted by the rounding issue. Corrected versions of the tables will be available in early March 2022 on data.census.gov and the Census API.
