After the release of the 2017 ACS data products, the Census Bureau identified an error in the data for Rio Arriba County, NM, which impacted 2017 ACS 1-year Supplemental Estimates and 2013-2017 ACS 5-year estimates in Rio Arriba County.  The error occurred during personal interview data collection.  The following topics were affected:  income and earnings, kitchen and plumbing facilities (vacant units only), labor force and employment, migration, and poverty.  The 2017 ACS 1-year Supplemental Estimates and 2013-2017 ACS 5-year estimates for these topics in the affected geographies should not be compared with other ACS estimates.  The 2013-2017 ACS 5-year estimates for these topics will be suppressed in future Comparison Profiles. 

This error for Rio Arriba County, NM had no notable impacts on the published 2017 ACS 1-year estimates or 2013-2017 ACS 5-year estimates at the national, regional, or state level.

The same data collection error occurred in 2018.  As a result, the 2018 ACS 1-year Supplemental Estimates and 2014-2018 ACS 5-year estimates have been suppressed for the topics listed above.  By extension, tabulations that use these topics to determine a given table universe were also suppressed.  The 2014-2018 ACS 5-year estimates for these topics will be suppressed in future Comparison Profiles.  Revised data for 2017 and 2018 will be used to create the 2019 and later 5-year ACS data.
