Error in the 2010 and 2011 American Community Survey Tables R2301 and GCT2301

The Census Bureau has identified errors in the estimates for the percentage of people 16 to 64 years old who are in the labor force in the 2010 1-year and 2011 ACS 1-year Ranking table R2301 "Percent of People 16 to 64 Who Are in the Labor Force (Including Armed Forces)" and the 2010 1-year, 2007-2010 3-year, 2006-2010 5-year, 2011 1-year, 2008-2011 3-year and 2007-2011 ACS 5-year Geographic Comparison Table GCT2301 "Percent of People 16 to 64 Who Are in the Labor Force (Including Armed Forces)." As a result, on February 6, 2013 we removed the tables from American FactFinder for all geographies.

For correct estimates, we suggest using Detailed Table B23001 "Sex by Age by Employment Status for the Population 16 Years and Over" or C23001 "Sex by Age by Employment Status for the Population 16 Years and Over." The percentage of people 16 to 64 years old who are in the labor force can be calculated by dividing total labor force estimates for people 16 to 64 by the total population 16 to 64.
