William Wiatrowski, Associate Commissioner for Compensation and Working Conditions at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, discusses the compilation of data on compensation, which are the wages and benefits that working Americans receive from their employer. Each Friday, C-SPAN's "America by the Numbers" segment features information from the federal statistical system.
