Steve is a Senior Economist and Assistant to the Chief, National Income and Wealth Division, Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). His current position includes representing BEA as a Development Partner for the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) Economic Classification Policy Committee (ECPC), and through the ECPC representing the OMB and the U.S. positions on issues relating to the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS), and reviewing, recommending, and negotiating those issues with the representatives of Mexican and Canadian governments responsible for NAICS. In previous positions, Steve was Coordinator of BEA's Source Data Integration and Evaluation Program. Prior to joining BEA, Steve served as Assistant Division Chief for Indicator Programs, Manufacturing and Construction Division, Census Bureau.
