Katherine Russell

Survey of Business Owners and Self-Employed Persons,
U.S. Census Bureau

Katherine Russell is a project manager for the Survey of Business Owners and Self-Employed Persons, or SBO, which is part of the Economic Census program at the U.S. Census Bureau. She is responsible for coordinating the planning, data collection, analysis, tabulation, and publication for this survey.

Ms. Russell began her Census Bureau career in the Service Sector Statistics Division working on the Service Annual Survey as a survey statistician, focusing on the computer systems design and employment services industries. She graduated with high academic distinction from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and holds a Master's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
