Release Process

Summary File 2 was released on a state-by-state flow basis through April.
National-level figures were released in May.
We announced which states would be released the week prior to their release.
The information was available on an embargoed basis for accredited media beginning on Tuesdays.
The news release and counts were available on the Census Bureau's public website on Thursday mornings.
