The U.S. Census Bureau is hosting a webinar in collaboration with five other federal agencies to explain and answer questions about the experimental Household Pulse Survey. The Household Pulse Survey provides weekly measures of how individuals are experiencing business curtailment and closures, stay-at-home orders, school closures, changes in the availability of consumer goods, and other abrupt and significant changes to American life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Data are being produced and released weekly for the nation, each state and the 15 largest metro areas in the United States. The Census Bureau is collaborating on this effort with the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Economic Research Service.
The webinar will consist of a simultaneous audio conference and online presentation. Attendees will be able to ask questions before and during the presentation by email at census.survey.feedback@census.gov.
