Census Bureau Researchers Present Findings at the 2018 Population Association of America Conference

April 27, 2018  ̶  Researchers from the U.S. Census Bureau will join other demographers, sociologists, economists and professionals from across the country and from different disciplines at the Population Association of America annual conference from April 26-28, 2018, in Denver, Colo. PAA offers a forum for Census Bureau researchers to present their research for professional discussion and share their findings with the public.

This year, Census Bureau researchers will present findings on a variety of topics including:

Other presentation topics include the foreign-born labor force, net international migration using administrative data, international student migration, mortality and nativity, fixed internet service, interracial and interethnic married couples, family and household composition, Puerto Rican children’s living arrangements, and the use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) administrative records.

These papers use a number of different Census Bureau data sources, including data from the Current Population Survey, the Survey of Income and Program Participation, the American Community Survey and various administrative records sources.
