Do you want more clarification on classifying goods or using our new enhanced search engine? Do you qualify as an individual whose learning style is both visual and auditory but you cannot make it out to one of the AES Compliance Conferences, then what do you do? There is another option. In collaboration with the International Trade Administration, the Commodity Analysis Branch holds Webinars with the aim to educate the export community on commodity classification.
In the comfort of your own chair, and in front of your own computer you can follow along with a Commodity Analyst who will lead you through a step by step tutorial on how to classify commodities. To attend a Webinar all you need is a personal phone and computer. Webinars are great because they are convenient, cost effective, and provide you with the opportunity to train many employees in one sitting .
In essence, provide you, the exporters, with resourceful tools that will enhance your shipping experience and knowledge about foreign trade. During the Webinar, you will be sharing a virtual screen with the analyst and will be able to hear the information on classification via phone. Webinar opportunities are presented throughout the year. To find out more about upcoming webinars, such as the one on export commodity classification, you can reference the International Trade Administration website. Once on the webpage, you can find all the information by clicking on the Webinar tab.
