Shelly Hedrick joined the U.S. Census Bureau’s communications team in 2004, where she has developed strategies and campaigns to educate the American public about the importance of quality data on our people, places and economy. Prior to joining the Census Bureau, Hedrick spent more than 20 years working policy and communications issues in the private sector, most recently as a vice president in Fleishman-Hillard’s social marketing practice.
Hedrick is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University.
