Angelica Menchaca
Demographer Statistician, Net International Migration Branch, Population Division
Angelica Menchaca is a demographer statistician in the Population Division’s Net International Migration Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau. She is skilled in demographic data analysis and statistical modeling using both administrative and survey-based data sources. Since joining the Census Bureau in 2019, Angelica has completed the Data Science Program and has experience with data visualization and data management. She also currently serves as a Spanish media contact on census population estimates.
Angelica received a doctorate in sociology with a focus on international migration and demography from Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on international migration, big data in immigration statistics and historically undercounted populations.
