In 2014, there was no statistically significant change from 2013 in either real median household income or the official poverty rate. At the same time, the percentage of people without health insurance coverage declined. Find out more on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at approximately 9:15 a.m. EDT as Jennifer Cheeseman Day, assistant division chief of employment characteristics in the U.S. Census Bureau’s Social, Economic and Housing Division, discusses statistics about income, poverty and health insurance in the United States.
