Did you know that consumer spending, adjusted for inflation, grew for the 13th consecutive month in November 2013? Find out more on Dec. 27 at approximately 9:20-10 a.m. EST as Nicole Mayerhauser, chief of the National Income and Wealth Division at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, discusses misperceptions about U.S. consumers and unearths interesting tidbits about their behavior over the last several decades. Each Friday, C-SPAN's "America by the Numbers" segment features information from the federal statistical system.
