The Census Bureau will hold a Web conference to discuss the Sept.19 release of 2012 American Community Survey statistics. The webinar will include information about the topics that will be available as well as step-by step guidance on how to access the upcoming statistics, compare geographies and compare statistics over time. Embargo subscribers will have access to the statistics beginning Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. EDT.
The American Community Survey produces statistics for numerous social, economic and housing characteristics, including language, education, commuting, employment, mortgage status and rent, as well as income, poverty and health insurance. Estimates will be available for the nation, all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, every congressional district, every metropolitan area, and all counties and places with populations of 65,000 or more.
The Web conference will consist of a simultaneous audio conference and online presentation. Participants will be able to ask questions once the presentation is complete.
