Media Advisory — Census Bureau to Host Media Availability Conference Call on Population Estimates by Age, Sex, Race and Hispanic Origin

What:

The U.S. Census Bureau will offer a two-day embargo period for embargo subscribers to view the latest population estimates by age, sex, race and Hispanic origin. The estimates will be available for the nation, states and counties. The 2012 population estimates by demographic characteristics will be posted to the Census Bureau's embargo site at 10 a.m. EDT Tuesday, June 11. The public release will be at 12:01 a.m. EDT Thursday, June 13. Two Census Bureau statisticians will be available for background information on June 11.

Tuesday, June 11, 2013; 1 p.m. (EDT)
