Health and Mental Health among Mexican-American Migrant Workers

Executive Summary

Two sets of interviews were conducted among Mexican and Mexican-American migrant workers at the Ruskin Migrant and Community Health Center, in Ruskin, Florida. The first set of 20 interviews were conducted at the end of June, 1992, and the second set of 20 interviews were conducted in mid-September, 1992. Attempts were made to sample equally among older males, younger males, older females, and younger females. The mean age of the total population was 35 years; mean level of education was 5.9 years.
