This paper briefly outlines the potential to augment the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) with data from various administrative record sources and points to possible research and evaluation activities using the augmented data set. The research initiatives listed below are at various stages of development, ranging from ideas or project proposals to operational studies.
