This tutorial gives an overview of the North American Industry Classification (or “NAICS”) coding system created by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This video describes how NAICS is comprised and how to use the system to find economic data on specific codes.
