Participation in U.S. Census Bureau Geographic Programs

The federal government uses demographic information provided by the U.S. Census Bureau to help determine funding for infrastructure, programs, and services across the nation.

These demographics are informed by timely geographic information collected by the Census Bureau. But, the starting point of all this information is participation by state, local, and tribal governments in the U.S. Census Bureau's geographic programs.
