A new era in US-European commerce in the digital economy leapt forward on July 12 as Secretary Penny Pritzker and European Commissioner Věra Jourová announced the approval of a new framework between the US and Europe called the “Privacy Shield.”
Privacy Shield will guide how US and EU companies will protect the privacy of personal data of EU individuals that gets transmitted to our nation, and speed digital commerce across the Atlantic.
