The U.S. census is vital to our communities and their futures. And now the Census Bureau has chosen Savannah and the surrounding counties to prepare for the next census in 2020. FABRIC 60 Awareness
Savannah and the surrounding counties are made up of lots of different people who have come together to form one vibrant community. Now, this area has the chance to help our country test a new way to safely and easily take the census online. Participation in the test census will shape the next U.S. Census in 2020. Our kids have a lot of questions, and it’s our job to answer them. When we participate in the census, we help answer some of those questions. This year, Savannah and nearby counties have the chance to participate in the 2015 Census Test, which will give a voice to the coastal region and shape the way America responds to the next national census in 2020, helping to determine our political representation, and enabling businesses to grow.
