About: The NC Counts Coalition serves as a hub to facilitate coordination among government entities, planning and community organizations, service providers, businesses, and others to achieve a complete and accurate 2020 Census count in North Carolina.

The A. Philip Randolph Institute's mission is to improve economically disadvantaged families' quality of life by providing resources that foster self-empowerment and self-sufficiency.

Both organizations strive to address community needs through a complete 2020 Census count. Every week, NC Counts Coalition and ARPI staff members and volunteers load a large truck with pallets of food and daily essentials. While making the rounds, they also spread important messages about the 2020 Census—encouraging community members to respond now and be counted during each truck-to-trunk encounter. Every delivery of food includes census literature and a verbal reminder to self-respond now.
