Abstract
This report presents illustrative projections of the resident population of the fifty States and the District of Columbia, classified by age, race, and sex for the years 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, and 2000, as well as data on components of population change. These projections are based on revised gross migration data for the 1965-70 period and postcensal estimates of net migration through 1975.
