Characteristics of New Housing: 1977

Introduction

The annual report on new housing is published jointly by the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This report provides statistics on selected financial and physical characteristics of new housing. Where possible, the statistics have been adjusted to account for nonresponse. This was usually done when the nonresponse rate was less than 25 percent.
