The rate at which privately-financed apartments were absorbed within 3 months of completion was 74 percent for the July-September 1975 quarter completions. Apartments which have been on the market for 9 months (those completed during January-March 1975) were 90 percent rented. The median asking rent for apartments completed in the third quarter of 1975 was $206.
