Volume II, General Report, is one of the four principal reports presenting the results of the 1950 Census of Agriculture, and is published in13 chapters by subjects. (Title page and list of reports is in the PDF to the right.)
This volume provides summary data and analyses of the data for States, for Geographic Divisions, and for the United States by subjects as listed below:
Census statistics date back to 1790 and reflect the growth and change of the United States. Past census reports contain some terms that today’s readers may consider obsolete and inappropriate. As part of our goal to be open and transparent with the public, we are improving access to all Census Bureau original publications and statistics, which serve as a guide to the nation's history.
