1930 Census: Volume 1. Unemployment Returns by Classes for States and Counties, for Urban and Rural Areas, and for Cities with a Population of 10,000 or more

The results from the census of unemployment, taken in 1930, were first published in a series of State bulletins. These bulletins, together with a summary bulletin covering the entire U.S., are assembled to make this volume, the first of two.

Volume I shows the number unemployed in the U.S. by geographic divisions and States, counties, etc., according to classes of unemployment by sex, color, and nativity, period of and reason for idleness, and industry groups.
