Mortality Statistics: 1920, Twenty-First Annual Report

This report presents mortaIity statistics for the death registration area of the United States. This area for 1920 includes, besides the 1919 area, one additional state—Nebraska.

A Note on Language

Census statistics date back to 1790 and reflect the growth and change of the United States. Past census reports contain some terms that today’s readers may consider obsolete and inappropriate.
