1900 Census Special Reports: Employees and Wages

This special report on employees and wages is designed to show the actual rates of wages and amounts earned for specific periods by the employees in typical manufacturing establishments in various lines of industry, and in different sections of the U.S.

These statistics are based on transcripts from the pay rolls of representative establishments in the leading lines of industry throughout the U.S. for corresponding months of the years 1890 and 1900.
